Byron Marshall (born February 13, 1994) is an American football that ran back for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). He plays college football in Oregon, and is signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as a free agent not assembled in 2016.

Initial years

Marshall attended the Christian High School Valley in San Jose, California, where he is a three-star sport in football, tracks and basketball. He is a four-year letterman in football. He rushed for 914 yards and nine his senior year averages, averaging 9.38 yards per carry, and caught seven baits for 86 yards and a score despite missing three games with injury. He is named as the second team of all-Mercury News. He brought the ball 145 times for 1,360 yards and 20 goals as a junior, and caught 10 passes for 115 yards, to be selected to the all-Central Coast main team. He has a break-out year as a second-year student, rushing for 1,035 yards and 17 goals, while capturing 11 tickets for 331 yards and four more scores. He is Calom Hi Sports State's Sophomore of the Year and is the main team of Central Coast selections and chooses the West Coast Athletic League. As a freshman in 2008, he was intercepted by Mitchell Loquaci in the CCS championship game. He also plays in the 2012 All-America Army game.

Also stand out in track & amp; field, Marshall was ranked first among sophomore in California with a time of 10.61 seconds in a 100 meter run. He placed third place in the National Indoor Championship on a 60-meter dashboard with 6.85 seconds. He also ran a run of 40.75 seconds and squatted 455 pounds.

College career

Marshall plays for Oregon from 2012-2015. As a freshman in 2012, he has 87 brings for 447 rushing yards and four hurried goals. As a second-year student in 2013, he became the 20th entrant of 1,000 Oregon yard (by 1,038), fifth in Pac-12 in busyness (with 86.5 yards per game) in 2013. Against UCLA, he earned 133 yards with three goals to close five straight games rushing over the century mark. As a junior in 2014, Marshall finishes the year with 1,003 yards receiving 74 catches. He became the first player in a conference history to ever rush for 1,000 yards and also garnered 1,000 receiving yards in his college career. The main Ducks recipient also performed great at the national championships, where he won eight receptions for 169 yards and one touchdown. As a senior, Marshall missed all but the first four games of 2015 with a foot injury, collecting 121 yards and two goals in nine catches.

Professional career

Philadelphia Eagles

Marshall was excluded from the NFL Draft 2016 and signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. On September 3, 2016, he was released by the Eagles. The next day, he entered the Eagles training team. He was promoted to the list of active players on December 13, 2016. On December 18, he made his NFL debut against the Baltimore Ravens with nine cars for 22 yards rushing. Overall, in the 2016 season, he appeared in three games and has 19 cars for 64 yards running. On September 2, 2017, Marshall was freed by the Eagles, and signed to the rehearsal team the following day.

Washington Redskins

On November 14, 2017, Marshall was signed by Washington Redskins from the Eagles training team. After suffering a hamstring injury in Los Angeles Chargers' 14th Los Angeles loss he was placed on injured injury on December 12, 2017. He finished in the 2017 season with nine carrying 32 yards and six receptions to 36 yards in four games.

Personal life

Marshall is the younger brother of running back Cameron Marshall.
