Bernie Simpson (born May 31, 1942) is a Canadian politician. He served in the British Columbia Legislative Council from 1991 to 1996, as a member of the NDP for the Vancouver-Fairview constituency. In 2001, Bernie established a partnership with a famous personal injury lawyer, Anthony Thomas, and the company became Simpson, Thomas & amp; Associates.

Initial career
In 1991, Simpson was elected to the British Columbia Legislature for Constituency of Vancouver-Fraserview. During his term as Provincial Legislature Member, he decided to ensure that Leg Legislative Helmets, enacted into law. This will be Canada's most progressive Bicycle Helmet Act. Constancy imposed that the Legislation was influenced by the case he did before being elected in which a young girl suffered serious brain injury while riding her bike in Surrey without wearing a bicycle helmet. To ensure that victims of car accidents have the best possible rehabilitation, Bernie has traveled to many parts of the world to prepare for rehabilitation programs.
