Trent Jordan " TJ " Watt (born October 11, 1994) is an American footballer outside the midfielder for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL ). He played college football at the University of Wisconsin, and was compiled by the Steelers in the first round of the NFL Draft 2017. He is the younger brother of professional footballers J. J. Watt and Derek Watt.

College career
Out of Pewaukee High School, Watt was rated as a three star recruiter by various recruitment services.
Watt began his career as a rigorous recruitment for Wisconsin Badgers. Watt knee injured in the 2014 season and he is in the process of recovery until mid-2015 season. He also played games from October 2012 to September 2015.
In July 2015, Watt was asked by head coach Paul Chryst to switch to a defensive position as a sophomore redshirt. Bad linigner outside coach Tim Tibesar remembers Watt's position change saying, "By then, even though he was in the third fall in Wisconsin, it was like having a freshman come in. Watt receives an invitation to the NFL Combine as one of the top edges in the draft and completes all the combined exercises. Pittsburgh Steelers picked Watt in the first half (overall 30) from the NFL Draft 2017. Watt is the fourth linebacker selected and the second outside linebacker. He is also the fourth midfielder taken in the first round by Pittsburgh Steelers since 2013.

On June 14, 2017, Steelers signed Watt with full bail, a four-year, $ 9.25 million contract with a signing bonus of $ 4.87 million.
He entered a training camp that competed with James Harrison for a position beyond the right behind the midfielder. Pittsburgh Steelers finished above AFC North with a 13-3 record and received a playoff spot. On 14 January 2018, Watt started his first career playoff game and recorded two combined tackles and deflected the operand in a 45-42 loss to Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC division round. Pro Football Focus gives Watt an overall score of 78.4 in 2017, which ranks 46th among all edge rushers.
Personal life
Watt was raised by his parents, Connie and John Watt, in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. His father was a firefighter for 25 years and his mother was vice president of an independent inspection company. Two brothers, J.J. and Derek, both playing in Wisconsin and both currently playing in the NFL. Derek is a fullback for Los Angeles Fans and was selected in the sixth round (overall 198th) in the 2016 NFL Draft. J.J. is four times the Pro Bowl defense for Houston Texans and was elected in the first round (overall 11) in the NFL Draft 2011. He is a teammate with Derek in Wisconsin from 2012-2015. During his time in Wisconsin, Watt majored in retail and consumer behavior.
